Description

The sound of Reel-To-Reel combines the best tape formulas, the best tape heads, and the finest electronic components. Experiment with bias settings, tape hiss amounts, switch between four tape types, and adjust wow & flutter for a real analog flavor. The combinations between all these parameters are practically endless and mastering them will allow you to achieve the warmth and color you crave in the exact amounts. Use Reel-To-Reel not only during post-production but also when tracking to monitor your session through the true sound of your favorite tape machines.

History

Reel-To-Reel is the result of all the love and knowledge Antelope Audio founder Igor Levin has gathered about tape machines since the 1970s. When designing this plugin, he set our team of seasoned engineers and audio pros on a mission not to merely revive the classics, but to expand on their legacy and build the perfect tape machine of today. Our tape saturation plugin behaves like a real piece of analog hardware and even slight details, like adjusting recording speeds and switching between different EQ standards, have been considered when designing this plugin to give you full control when sculpting the ultimate tape tone.
